Young Voices 2018

thank you for the great feedback from our visit to Young Voices on Monday. It is great to know that parents were as wowed by the event as we were. The school staff were really proud of all the pupils and can’t wait until we go again. Thank you to Mrs Moden and Mrs Prentice for all their hard work with the choir and to everyone for their support of North Wheatley pupils. Together we make a great team!

Choir visit to North Notts College

A huge well done to the KS2 members of the choir today who represented North Wheatley at North Notts College in Worksop. Staff were very proud to see them sharing their talents with the wider community.

We were treated to a flurry of snow too as we arrived with a secret snow machine to get us into the Christmas spirit! As a thank you we were also treated to a selection box, hat and mug each!

Well done choir we are all so proud of you – your next performance will be in front of 5000 people!

Celebrating Christmas festive fun with the PTFA

The school PTFA have  worked exceedingly hard over the past few weeks to organise a superb Christmas Extravangza for the community.  Families and friends from near and far, came together to enjoy the very special event and of course, visit Santa and Mrs Claus.

A huge thank you to everyone for coming to Join the festive fun and especially to the PTFA  for all they do for pupils, families and school.

Celebrating amazing writers today …

Pupils excelled themselves today when they came to school dressed in their pyjamas to write their Christmas stories about ‘The Dreamgiver’. The quality of the narratives they produced  astounded both staff and their friends. Pupils commented that the ‘creative ambience’ really enhanced the literary experience.

Anti-Bullying week – All different, All Equal, November 2017

Pupils’ enthusiasm and learning resilience made every member of staff proud this afternoon, when they worked collaboratively with peers from across school in our Anti-Bullying workshops. This year, learning was planned through the expressive and creative arts. Have a look at our video to share in pupils’ talents. They would love it if you leave a comment too!
